Tuesday, October 25, 2005
The power distribution units have been raised from 20 to 30 amp circuits at a cost of $50,000 at the Chicago facility and at the Dallas facility, the core switching gear was replaced, transformers were upgraded and an additional transformer from a diverse grid for further power expansion was set for a cost of $800,000.
"Each of these upgrades will give our customers a higher level of security, knowing that their mission-critical data is secure, their Web site will be functioning 24-7 and their online-related businesses won't be interrupted," says Christopher Faulkner, CEO of C I Host. "The NCEs in particular give our customers a new free benefit - less wear and tear on computer equipment and fewer hardware failures."
