Go Daddy Adds .eu Domains

Domain registrar and Web hosting provider Go Daddy (godaddy.com) said on Thursday that it had been accredited by EURid (eurid.eu) to sell the .eu domain.
The company says it will begin accepting registrations on or before August 25, 2005 and then automatically submit registrations when EURid opens its sunrise period in October. During the sunrise period, only public bodies, trademark holders, and those possessing prior rights to a name may register a .eu domain.
