Wednesday, August 10, 2005
GoDaddy.com, an ICANN accredited registrar of domain names, today announced that it now offers a Turbo Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate (a $29.95 value) free of charge for one full year, with the purchase of a Premium hosting account.

Go Daddy's Turbo SSL certificates have 99% browser recognition, and offer businesses and individuals a higher level of security and privacy for online transactions where sensitive information is exchanged, claims the company. Go Daddy SSL certificates have received the WebTrust Seal of Assurance (awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants), which guarantees that Go Daddy has met and exceeded standards in the areas of privacy, security, business practices/transaction integrity, availability, and confidentiality.

Go Daddy's Premium hosting account includes 4000MB of disk space, 200GB of monthly bandwidth, 1000 email accounts, unlimited email forwarding accounts, database support, free $25 Google AdWords credit, and free forums, blog tools and photo galleries. It supports Windows' ASP/PHP and ASP.NET, as well as Linux's PHP/Perl/Java, and include free pre-installed applications and add-on applications.
