New e-Commerce Shopping Cart for Web Hosting Providers

ShopSite, Inc., a leading provider of e-commerce shopping cart and catalog software for small to medium-sized businesses, announced today the release of its new ShopSite Version 8.0.
ShopSite is an industry leading e-commerce software option for web hosting providers, for new or existing Internet merchants and for web designers.

Support for the new PayPal Website Payments Pro has been added to ShopSite Starter, Manager and Pro. Besides allowing a faster and more secure checkout for shoppers using PayPal, it also provides an easy way for merchants to directly accept credit cards in their shopping cart.
ShopSite has also integrated with the PSiGate payment gateway. This gateway supports both Canadian and U.S. merchants. ShopSite's XML Order Download API, which previously was only available in ShopSite Pro, has now been added to ShopSite Manager. This enables third- party add-ons, such as Order Manager from Stone Edge, Mail Order Manager (M.O.M.) from Dydacomp, as well as ShopSite's Order Transfer module for QuickBooks, to now be available to thousands of ShopSite Manager merchants.

Continuing to improve existing features, ShopSite 8.0 Pro has also added
the following:
* Merchants can now create gift certificates from within ShopSite.
* Orders can be searched via criteria such as PayPal Pending status, shopper phone number, containing coupons, etc.
* Verified by Visa(R) and MasterCard(R) SecureCode, as well as Fraud Protection Services, are now supported for the VeriSign payment gateway.
