Online Backup Service Signs Reseller Agreement with ISP

Newport International Group announced today that its Spare Backup Inc. subsidiary has signed another new channel partner for the company's fully automated online backup service.
Spare Backup Inc. signed the agreement with Evenlink, a Pennsylvania-based Internet Service Provider with a strong presence among local businesses.
Cery Perle, Chief Executive Officer of Newport explained the relationship, ''Evenlink is a forward-thinking provider that offers an array of other services, including web design, networking, e-commerce capability, and now Spare Backup, a valuable addition to their service offering.''
Spare Backup offers a simple backup service for small business users, business travelers and professionals who work extra hours from home. From set-up through file selection and scheduling, no user interaction is required. The Spare Backup service on its own instantly recognizes files on the user's hard drive, including Outlook e-mails, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, digital photos, QuickBooks files and MP3 music files and more. Each file, along with the data needed to preserve its unique look and feel, is then replicated, encrypted twice and transported over the user's high-speed Internet connection every weeknight.
From there, the backup files are stored in Spare's twin secure data centers, where they are accessible from any high-speed Internet-connected computer anywhere.
